The Career

Bella always knew she wanted to be in advertising. When she left school she systematically set about a marketing campaign for herself. This gained her a traineeship at George Patterson Bates at the age of 18. “Growing up in an entrepreneurial family it wasn’t surprising that I acquired my father’s drive, dreams and aspirations. It made me the person I am today - used to change and never afraid of a challenge.”

Working and attending school at night, she received a number of awards in planning, strategy, and creative allowing her to further her initiatives.

Bella continued to gain valuable experience working on a freelance basis, generating a wide range of branding executions designed to launch new products. In 2000 she joined the team at The Edge Media Group as a creative and business strategist.

Here she continues to work on branding exercises / integrated campaigns and developing leading-edge technology solutions. (see an example at apple.com.au)
Added to this Bella pursues a range of passions including Television Presenting, TVC Voiceover work, jingle writing, fashion design, life coaching, singing and hearing-aid market research. Rather than being disparate entities Bella realizes that all of her business and life skills are inextricably linked and now form the basis of her brand. Bella’s attention to the detail, her driving spirit, and the vitality to generate fresh ideas has always made her a strong team player.

She is known to support others in their aspirations helping them to achieving their goals. In her understanding of the power behind the brand and her passion for new marking techniques for the millennium, Bella is now focusing her attentions on the hearing industry. “Promoting awareness for the deaf via a brand presents enormous potential, and there's so many out there that just need a little encouragement. Everyone wins."

“Whenever she sees a need she comes up with a solution. The solution in this case is simple and elegant.” Greg Dunn, MD The Edge.
